The Niagara Olympic Club (NOC) was originally formed in 1994 with the intent of bringing together elite runners in the Niagara Region. We have now redefined our goal to bring together all track and field athletes in the region, not only for the love of the sport, but in order that they may experience the higher level of fitness and competition that commitment, coaching and team spirit always bring.
Athletes can take part in events on a year round basis with two or more practice sessions per week. From December through March, the athletes are involved in indoor track with practices locally at Ridley College Field House and York University in Toronto. The track season moves outdoors at the end of March through July. In September, the cross-country season begins and runs until November. Competitions are attended at all levels including Canadian National Championships; Athletics Ontario Provincial Championships; University/High School Meets; Minor Track Association Meets; and All-Comers Meets. |
